just moderating. clydes been on good behavior here lately. im gettin snippy but its not bc duck season is close... its growin bentgrass in the south in july with a boss who is FREAKING OUT CONSTANTLY. people need to learn to relax. including the jefe.

We had bentgrass greens, and it was a pain keeping the fungus off of it, even up here. Can't imagine what it's like down your way. During these hot, humid days we'd have to drag hoses across the greens to try and get the dew off first thing in the morning before the dollar spot and other yuck would start.duckkillerclyde wrote:lots of bent grass for seed up this way.
That's where our seed always came from- kept under lock and key because that crap was (and I'm sure still is) so expensive. I swept out the seed room once to clean it up, and took the sweepings to my grandparents place to dump in a bare spot. To this day, there is a ridiculously green, lush patch of grass on one side of their front yard.
