I was overseas last year and didnt get to watch as much as I would have liked. UK beat louisville this year, as we all know UK has been far less than stellar all year. They finally turned it up this past week in the SEC tourney, UK will have to beat Wichita st to make it to UofL and I say UK will beat them again, if not then louisville must face off against Duke or KU. Both of which are much better than UofL is, they played no one this year as every other year before. Finally next year they move into a big boy conference that is the ACC to which they will play the likes of UNC, Duke and others. All of which will shatter that little preseason ranking that they always seem to keep, based on schedule strength and how they have preformed all year I do not believe they will make it to the championship. I believe they will be beat out by a better team, keep in mind read I am not saying any of this because I am a UK fan, yes I do love the Cats and will cheer for them until they lose. I despise louisville but believe they are a good team, championship team for this year, I highly doubt it. They played great last year and typically the game between UK and UofL sets the pace for the rest of the year, last year they beat the shit out of UK and they deserved to win the big dance, this year I dont believe they are championship quality, just my views.

No UK sucked monkey nuts last year, I dont make excuses for UK they play how they want and I disagree all day with what Cal does as a recruiting coach. I believe we would have a better chance if we could get some leadership in.

UK you honestly think not? UK is coming off a 1pt defeat from the #1 team in the nation, the team who is predicted to win it all. UK and UofL is one of the biggest rivalries in the nation, when they play against each other the best comes out just the same with any other rivalry. UK showed what they can do as a team in that game and the entire SEC tourney. Florida is an extremely defensive team pressing full court pressure and one of the best half court pressures in the nation, UK still only lost by 1 point and the possibly still stood of winning had young not fell in the last seconds. I understand I sound like the typical UK fan by saying UK is the best and what not, I assure you that I do not believe that, if they make it past the sweet 16 I will be highly surprised. They simply cant put that many games together, Louisville is good I will not say they aren't but they arent championship good. You arent telling me anything, I have watched and am constantly disappointed, the losses to LSU, Arkansas, South Carolina should have never happened. They are young guys and arent ready for the NBA in any way, shape or form, they havent played worth a damn until last week. They have zero leadership and they all want to be the stars, you cant do that in this game because as we all know one game can send you home in a hurry. They will continue to be loaded with talent but until they play as a TEAM they wont amount to much, the freshman team that won the championship 2 years ago IMO is only because they had the leadership of Patterson and others to show them what to do and keep their heads out of the clouds.
