I don't think there is an inshore plastic bait that can beat the gulp. I know they're pricey as hell, but damn they're good baits.

FYI- never, ever leave one on the hook when you're done fishing.

All da troof!

All false except the FYI, I hate gulp. Too stiff, no action, and if you change to a different rod for more than an hour, take the gulp off the other rod or it'll be harder than obx playing tennis with his sister :D

Thats why you don't leave it on the rod..put it back in the package. Its almost fact that it outfishes all other artificials.

The new gulps aren't to bad about shrinkage. They just dry out a little but they are still easy to get off the hook. I'll I use is gulp unless I can get live pinfish, then I'm going for big trout or flounder.

Yeah, I've had good luck with the gulp. Also going to try some stuff by DOA. I'm still learning the inshore fishing, but it's pretty fun. We use fish bites for bottom fishing if we don't have bloodworms or squid.

Those look real nice. I don't have any of Brian's calls yet, but a buddy has a couple and really likes it.

I'm a big fan. The swamp bore is great, has a unique flat nasally sound, the hybrid sounds the same but with more volume. Really turns birds that stale on typical calls. Brian is a really good dude too.

Haha I had that dream for years as a kid. I'll always regret not going.

I have come across some nice sheds in the spring on lake and river sandbars. Both antlers fell offat the same time and were about 5 feet apart. I have also seen them above timberline while sheep hunting. Makes you wonder why they would be up there in the middle of winter. The density of animals is pretty low compared to the lower 48 so you would have to do a lot of traveling to find more than a few horns.
