Just now finished. Picked and put up 5 more pints of sliced jalapeños and 4 more gallons of tomatoes. Takes a while to core, blanch, peel, and bag the tomatoes, for sure. In another month or so I'm going to dedicate one whole day to boiling the frozen tomatoes down into sauce and canning. Right now I have 11 gallons in the freezer. Gonna be a long day.

And a wheelbarrow of corn that I left sit. I'll deal with that tomorrow. I understand why people had so many kids back in the day.

Damn oil changes went up 4 bucks to 19.95.

About 90 bucks for me, and I do it myself.

With synthetic I only change oil every 9 k and filter every 3k. Not a hiccup yet.

Isnt that a pain to change the filter and not the oil?

That's long ago in DHC land. Bringing kids and threats into it, or not, depending on who's side your listening to. I just know I wasn't part if it, and don't really want to be so the less I know the better probably

That's what I was thinking. The filter ion my wife's truck takes about 3 quarts alone.

Nope. Not of your filter is above your fluid level. If you have a vertical mount you'll lose what's in the filter. A horizontal mount loses very little.

assa, i am really jealous of your garden!! my wife and i kinda dropped the ball on the whole growing thing this year. all we got so far is a few zuchini, tomatoes, and one watermelon.
