Yes, aft is backwards.
If you're facing forward.

If you're facing forward.
The pointy end is the bow, the square end is the stern.

Some, yes. Not all, and not traditionally.
Never mind. I don't care anymore.
I think this is where something clever about tapatalk should go.

Not if you're on a double ender.
I'm not familiar with a double bender.

assateague wrote:I don't think so. I have olive oil, which we bought a gallon of several months back. We more eggs than we can shake a stick at. I've got ground mustard in the spice rack, and the neighbor has lime and lemon trees in his greenhouse, with fruit for the asking. My mayo should be basically free.
I'm sure I've bought some stuff. I got $60 out of the ATM on Tuesday, and I only have $26 in my pocket.

The dock lines go where ever the captain says they do. Port or starboard, bow or stern, breast, forward leading spring, aft leading spring, by cleat #1 #2 #3 #4 #5 etc. The rods or fishing lines are called whatever the captain says they are to be called. Port or starboard flat line, rigger line, drop line, trailing line etc. There's only one captain on each vessel and shit on board is called whetever the fuck the captain wants them to be called.![]()
