Pulled this off the top of my Ranger's transmission this morning. When the reverse went out about 2 weeks ago some debris were created within the transmission and it finally caught up with it. You can see in the metal where piece of metal got jammed between the case and the gear housing and the case lost that battle.

It's one of my Dad's cars, the motor is coming out. It took a shit on the last tour he was on and it going to be sent out and rebuilt. It's a horizontally opposed 2 cylinder motor for a 1908 Northern. It has 24 HP and a 5 1/2 inch bore and 5 1/4 inch stroke.
