PETA should have given deer hunters smart phones a long time ago. There has been no better distraction to let deer walk past you than watching youtube or playing games.

So why do you guys all use tree stands? Small areas to hunt? I have never used one, but here in CA where I hunt there is nothinig but mountains for miles around.

Gets you over the brush so you can actually see more than 15 feet, plus it puts you above the deers line of sight so you can get away with moving around a little more as long as you stay quiet about it.
