same here but i've started taking my keys out the past few months. the fucking pill head/heroin addicts are taking over

Down there too, huh? We've had so many heroine busts around here in the last 6 months it's ridiculous. Last night was another, something like 950 packets of HAIR-ahn, a few thousand cash, bunch of guns, and a mess of pills. So many break ins here, too, out in this rural area. The tweakers know it takes the cops at least 15 minutes to show up, so they're getting bolder, lot of daylight home invasion situations. Sickening.

Why are they busting heroines?

Mine isn't worth a picture. Keys, phone, wallet, and cash. Use your imagination, but don't you dare imagine one of those tri-fold wallets. Good for nothing peices of shit. I've hated them ever since I worked a register, and the fold is right on the other side of where the lever in the cash drawer holds down the bills so the ends stick up getting caught in the drawer.

Keys, wallet, and sometimes phone.

If I'm going somewhere where a knife could be useful, i'll bring one, but going to class or work dosen't apply.

It's one of the 3 things I never leave home without. I'd argue that a knife is the single most useful thing you could carry, right before a flash light.

I probably use my knife an average of 4 times a day. I know I use it at least twice for cutting the baling twine on the bales when feeding the horses.

Not arguing the knife has no place. Just in my typical day, going to class, going to work (where I have access to more knives for more purposes than I could ever need) and stopping for a beer at the brewhaus before hitting the library, its a non-essential.

I'd be lucky if I used a knife, other than my utility knife at work, more than once a month.

I keep my wallet in the truck, don't carry a watch, knife, cash or anything else.

Actually it's rare I have anything at all in my pockets or on my person, I can handle damn near anything with wit and good looks

I think it's either my old age or laziness, or a combination of both. I'll use a knife to open a plastic package of something, dig a splinter out of my hand, and other assorted crap. If it's going to take me more than 2 seconds to pull something open, I just use a knife.
