Ha. The cold is not in my mind, it is on my fingertips, my toes, and the water I wish I was huntibg, but can't because it is froze! You've seen the conditions and places I will hunt, you know the cold won't defeat me, but I sure as hell don't like it.

You must embrace the snow and cold, and cease to talk about it. Otherwise, the battle is lost.

You have to pretend to like it, like pretending to not have a hangover!!!

We were up in NW Mo last week hunting when that snow passed through. My dog hated it. The first pic is the day before the snow.

Great pics dog walker. My mutts love the snow, something about it gets them excited like they are puppies again. It was great to see the snow fall. It means very good things for us for the next few weeks.

It wasn't the snow that had her but I believe that it was the low temps and being in the field all day. She rarely sees temps below 30.

Some dogs just hate the cold, my dog hates cold water. Early in the season he will leap into the water but once the water starts to ice up he creeps in haha.
“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.” ― Samuel Adams

I'm sure not being used to it is the biggest reason. My skinny ass wirehaired freak loves it. Throwibg the dummy yesterday got him excited. He was a long way off the ground in the first pic, was a hell of a pounce.
