Can't believe it's going straight up, and glad it's not going to come this far east. Stay safe boys!

We've never had a storm bad enough that I felt the need to stay awake all night to "keep an eye on things".

I can't remember a storm taking that path. We normally get pounded as it comes out of IA, or if it comes down from MN through WI.

It this one turns back through WI out of MN, my neck of the woods is fucked!

Have quite a few times. I am a light sleeper, will normally wake up if anything is goin down. If its tornadic I will leave the tv on, the buzzer for weather will wake me up.

Worst I've ever dealt with is earthquakes or a winter with enough snow that requires roofs to be shoveled of to avoid collapse.

All we get is massive floods every ten to 20 years. Good luck and be safe everyone.

We get a ice storm every 10 or so years, flooding that usually is from a hurricane, tornados but not the bad ones like y'all get and that's about it. Oh yea and a lot of crime I think Shreveport is in the top 10 in the nation in crime rate per capita or something.

Been 10 years since I've taken cover in a basement. Listened to many, many sirens, prepared for the worst many times. Somehow, I have never had a good view of a tornado.

I think the best view is the one where you never see the damn thing. We get a EF0 around here on occasion a people freak.:)

When the sirens sound, that means everyone go outside with a camera. An EF4 came through close in 2004, bout 5 miles south of my house, crossed the river into MO. Lots of ceiling repairs from that storm. The sound of a good tornado close is quite intense.

It was very unpredictable dew, though. That's the most dangerous kind.

That one that hit Kansas City in 2003 was a half mile from my brand new house. It sounded like a freight train.

No damage here last night.

Yeah. It made for some hellacious humidity this morning.

I stepped out of the A/C into the garage and about passed out.

I think the solution will be to run A/C into my garage.

One can't be too careful.

My A/C is still sitting on the four-wheeler I rolled it into the storage on.
Hoping I can wait until mid-June to install it this year. Last year we had it going already at this time.
Enjoying the no-heat, windows open at night, no-A/C days whenever possible.
Got up to 87 on Saturday and Sunday but we just dealt with it.
I ain't putting it in until I'm sweating.
