That's why I spread mine out over a dozen years. At least that's what I tell myself.

Things really are going very well - I'd say as well as can be expected. Doc's are happy - went past 28 weeks this week, starting weekly stress tests next week. C-sect scheduled 7/23

Thanks for asking.

I'd guess she's had one before. After one they usually stay down that road.

It's a long story, has to do with the first baby being so premature and the type of incision they had to make to get him out - they do not want her to have any kind of contractions, all the subsequent babies have to come out the same way. So we schedule them so the babies are 3-4 weeks premature - perfectly healthy, just scrawny.

Nah, the upper eschelon do it that way nowadays. Gives them an exact date for delivery, and doesn't stretch the hoo-ha.

True Warlock Fact: Years ago before my first son we took LaMaze class(tells ya how to give birth). A Lady was there that said she didn't really need to be there. When asked why, she responded "I am having a C-Section because my dog is supposed to have puppies around my due time and I have to be there". WHATTTT!!!! You mean you are going to give precedence to your pregnant dog over your own child! Dogs drop puppies while they shit and continue walking around in circles until they all fall out and the puppies are just fine with that!!!! My Mind was blown!!!

Some folks are crazy. Our first was simple. Fairly long labor, but no issues. The second came quick, flipped three times during labor, tried coming out ass first, and had to finally do emergency csection. Had cord wrapped around her neck three times as result of the flipping around. Stuff was scary for a little while, but ended fine.

Well, while we're telling stories on these things...

With Layniebug, my wife was about a week overdue, so they scheduled a day to induce labor. Came in, Doc gave her the shot at 12:00pm. It took a little quicker than he thought, since he went to eat lunch. At 12:45, my wife told the nurse she was ready for the epidural RIGHT DAMN NOW. The nurse tried to get the doc, he was nowhere to be found (it was lunchtime, after all), then checked my wife. Said "sorry, honey, no time for that, the baby's coming right now". She called for another nurse, who was in an out from time to time, trying to get things squared away, but Layniebug was born at 1:05, just over an hour after the shot, and about 30 minutes of labor. No drugs, no epidural, nothing. Just me, my mother, and a nurse. I was getting my hand squashed while handing the nurse towels, sponges, scissors and the like with my other hand. No problems at all.

And did I still get a bill from the doctor? You're damn right. Sonofabitch wasn't even in the hospital, and had the balls to send a bill for the delivery. My wife deserved props for that one, and has shit-talking rights when the ladies get together and talk about having kids, like they do. War stories and all.

We went in on a Thursday for a regular checkup. The Dr. decided it was time to induce that day. The wife went through about 43 hours of induction/labor before ending with an emergency c-section. They said our girl never would have come down with the way she was sitting. Don't know how they do it (women). I would have been a huge pita Haag it been me in her position. Our baby will be two at the end of July...

I think this is where something clever about tapatalk should go.

She was in labor with Sam for 4-5 hours with an epidural. The next four, she was in labor for an hour or less. No time for epidurals.
