Our turkey feathers are nowhere near that defined. More of a light brown/goldish and dark brown pattern. The bright white threw me off.

Very few pure easterns around here. While not a 50/50 eastern/rio hybrid like west of here, there is still some rio influence.

TONS of hybrids around us. Usually shoot one pure Merriam a year, looking back at the pictures from this year, not sure we did.
