Try videotaping police officers doing their job sometime and see how it goes. Make sure and get the audio portion taped too.
They actually HAVE a right to privacy...especially when they are doing a job.
Ironically they insist we dont have the same rights.????????????????????????????
Two of my friends from high school were arrested for video taping a routine traffic stop in Champaign.
The police dont want to be video taped.
I've heard that it's incredibly stupid to fuck around with a crazy man's head.

It's different for different states.

nope. In our hippie college town of Arcata we have Cop Watch group. If they see us on a stop, they'll stop and video tape us. Then try and interview us afterward. Only time I have authority over them is if they interfere with my duties or place themselves, myself or anyone else in danger. At which point I'll instruct them to a safe place to finish video taping and they always go with the program. The ironic thing is that, like Olly's two nerds in town with the AR, they're hoping we get hostile with them so they can catch it on tape

Don't call them my nerds. I didn't approve of their actions. I can't stand idiots that go out looking for trouble to prove a point. Even if I'm on the same "side" as them. I was just being balanced and pointing out the other side of the argument. Fuck those guys for making a scene.

And as far as the filming I don't think anyone should have an expectation of privacy in public, police or no police. When you're in public act like it for god's sake.

No expectation of privacy at all. And furthermore, even if you're in your house or your yard, you have no expectation of privacy, and you may be videotaped. If you're in front of a picture window in your living room masturbating, for example, it's fair game to record it and show it in court to prove you don't have a bad shoulder/back/neck.

I got it. They were punks for looking for confrontation. The cops were heavy handed in their treatment of them.

I love seeing a bunch of fuck ups re-entering the justice system. As a former High School wrestler, I can apprecitate some of those moves.

Of course, everyone is innoceant until proven guilty
