No. You fill out a slip with whatever numbers you want to enter. A guy who wanted to fuck up the system could make the worst blind look like its shooting awesome.

No, the best part about my club is that the hunting is usually so bad that none of the members hunt it. It's almost my own private spot.

I guess what I meant was, if you see stellar results online do you go into that spot with expectations?

More of a staring point in blind choice for me. I usually try n see what blinds are shooting well recently, then make a calculated decision adding wind and weather conditions that day. It's been my experience that certain blinds shoot better due to wind directions. All that being said I have made the wrong call on several occasions. But generally it works out ok.

Ask somebody to explain The 50/50 before you put too much thought in all those stats and analysis.

The 50/50 does not predicate probable outcomes, nor does it measure standard deviations from the mean.

OK OK you don't have to twist my arm. I'll go hunt with you, and be your personal executive blind picker/refuge guide. I'll have to clear my schedule. But I think we can make this happen. Don't forget the coffee"lots of cream and sugar" and the doughnuts. ;) I shall walk you threw the wonder and enchantment that is our public property waterfowl system.

Top 5 blinds at Delevan. Shoot consistently threw out the season. 50/50 goes out the window. Top 3 you can shoot a limit out of them if you stick it out on tough days. And your done by mid morning on average days.

They've always looked at my birds when I gave 'em the thing, I've even had times when they looked at my birds and they filled out the slip. The only refuge I've hunted where you can totally f**k up their system is Modoc NWR, but they don't have blinds except for Mobility Impaired.
