not true with my boat. Plug is on the bottom, and there is no ramp or anything so going fast would just force more water in

Was your boat built in Poland or Mexico?

Where ever Richline was built. I'm kind of doubting it is the original drain plug though being that the plug is a threaded pipe cap

I'm currently working on a friend of mines boat trying to get it a little more seaworthy for this duck season, somebody really reamed out and disfigured the plug hole and I'm thinking about some sort of threaded pipe or something along those lines to fix it.

I can't get you pictures because it's out at my uncles for the winter, but it's basically a pipe thru that I'm sure my dad did and he used hard silicone to seal around it

Hate to say it, but if there's 40 boats racing like that to compete for a spot the hunting is gonna be shitty anyways. At least for what I'd consider hunting.

It's famous for a reason. Have I mentioned that there's no shot shell size larger than a number 2 and a Max of 15 of them?

Huge. These areas are giant and could hunt thousands of guys. Everyone fights for the holes nearest the rest area.

It's crazy but works way too well to simply end it.
Drawings and stakes etc...too much work and responsibility for agfc.

Race starts at 4am. By 4:20 everyone has found their spot. Efficient as hell. Safe? It's safe until one dumbass drunk gets too pushy.

The WMA I hunt on occasion is 4 square miles. 1 or which is a refuge.
So in 3 square miles up to 70 parties of 1-4 hunters pack in twice a day for the entire season. 100 boats in 50 square miles is nothing.

True, but they are all competing for them "line" holes. At Bayou Meto in The Lower Vallier they are racing to "Government Cypress walk-in area".

Call it what you want but I'm not interested. I'd go to jail for shooting someone.

It's a fucking free for all. Definitely not duck hunting. But if the weather is too bad to get on the bay, or if the refuge is hot I give it a go. Everyone meets in a building and they have a bingo drawing and you get to pick a specific blind or corn strip. So everyone doesn't all pack into one small spot. Most flooded corn fields are 160 acres and have 6 zones in them. There are some out of the way marsh zones that I usually go for so I don't have to deal with the skybusters in the fields. Some times it works out, some times it doesn't. Of the 5 times I went this year we drew in the last 25% every time. Still killed 25ish ducks I think. Just gotta pick the days.

You and I do the same kind of Duck Hunting I'd bet.
“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.” ― Samuel Adams
