Ha! We did discuss having a real gunfight at a hunt, get a bunch of people that hate on everyone there and start shit

I could see Paw wielding an axe and WFM a bowie knife.

Think most of them were carrying concealed and as the booze flowed they started measuring

QHPaw is a Badass, but he would have to be the last to go because I told his wife I would get him safely home after meeting Internet friends.

Shit I think me and Aaron were the only ones not packing in the garage!

I wasn't carrying either, but I'm always packing a big gun.

She was really nice to meet. I was probably the only internet friend he brought home to meet her.

Far and away my favorite gun to shoot. I really wish Savage would build a better gun for the .17 WSM, I want to like that cartridge, but the BMAG is fucking garbage. I'm sure it would probably shoot just fine, I just can't bring myself to buy one. Maybe when I win the lottery I'll buy a Volquartsen, but I'll stick with my HMR for now...

Wasn't sure about the scope, shot better than expected. Was a Cabelas caliber specific for the .17 with bdc reticles at 100, 150,& 200. With a rest and cleaning the barrel, should be nice. Put scope off .17 on my .223, first shot was in the bulls, shot 4 more rounds, scope was on at 100 no adjustments.

WFM has us both beat. Fuck

True story. I was running a trapline in eastern NC and usually released most dogs if they had collars. Some I shot if they looked feral.
One day I caught a dog that looked just like Old Yeller from the Disney movies way out in a place called wolf swamp. I decided to release him and after putting a choke stick on him I stepped on the levers of the victor coilspring trap and he pulled his foot out. Put a tree between him and me and slipped the cable off his neck. Thought I could talk calm to him and he would leave. Instead he laid his ears back rolled up his lips and came after me. I put up my left arm to protect my neck and he took it in his mouth. Luckily I had a framing hammer to drive trap stakes on a carpenters ring on my hip and shattered his skull with it first shot. Cut his head off to take it to the Veterinarians office to test for rabies.
Not thinking too straight I walked in the front door instead of the back door of vets office and through the waiting room with this dogs head in my hand. Couple of little old ladies sitting there with fluffy freaked out when they saw that. The vet was my fishing buddy and wasn't too happy about that move.

If the vet was really your buddy, he should have said: "Bring that right on in here, I think I can fix him and have him back to you in less than an hour."
