i tried on crocs once when they first came out.. ill admit that, but luckily my foot is way to narrow for them. never owned a pair.

This. I only wear tennis shoes for work (both jobs). And I wear my cowboy boots for working outside or just looking good. Other than that, its crocs or muck boots.

I was firmly against crocs until I got a pair. They were comfortable but quite dangerous in a boat full of mud and water after a night of drinking and frogging. Then I found boat crocs that had damn good traction and I stopped sliding across my boat.

One day soon you will be walking along and all of a sudden be looking up at your feet without warning. There is nothing you can do to prevent this but burn all your crocs. I've seen two heads split open in this scenario and taken off to get staples.
