Thanks to the few that lent a helping comment. As I said. Im new to the game. Ive spent the last 25 years running coonhounds and not much time for anything else. So im going from hero to zero. But im enjoying the hell out of itand having some good hunts, minus the fact that I didnt know a woodduck from a ringneck.
No harm was meant by anyone's comments. It's just kinda a standing joke about new hunters shooting grebes (federally protected bird) and posing on forums or facebook asking what they just shot.
This forum has a pretty laid back style if operation. It's all in fun here though. Hang around and join in. If you have any general serious questions, the "greenhorn" forum is the place for them. Only serious comments related to the question are allowed there. The "blind" forum is where the fun happens. Not a lot gets gets accomplished in there generally.
