And while digging those up, I stumbled across something special for Assa. What's "wrong" with this pintail?

He's a tough old dog today at 84 Red. Still works out at the gym for an hour almost every day he can.

That's a bad sign. I hope you're eattin' right.
My grandparents were both near a hundred when they died a few years ago. They both had brothers and/or sisters who survived them. That's the Robertson branch of my family tree, they're tough peoples.

The piles have looked similarly the same for the last few years...

eh.. i don't have the motivation or desire to try to make my pic anything special most of the time.. i take pics to make sure i keep my counts correct..

rick, i like the name "table of DOOM" i may make a branded wood sign that says just that.. lol!!!!!

but here a a couple of slide shows.. if ya look, i think the first 3 of each will be the same pic, (well maybe not, they may be randomly placed, but i have the same 3 pics in each file) other than that, nope... you will also notice that there are geese in each and every one!!!

I used to put neck broken cripples in a bucket in the corner of my pit until they quit kicking, so none would get lost and be left behind. Had a young boy from Pittsburgh making his first hunts with me, who noted the practice and pipped up with "And into the bucket of death he goes." when I tossed one in. Forever after it was "the bucket of death" and many a joke was made about the misfortune of seeing it from the inside.

Had a nice bunch of specks cashing in right on the deck when the same little fellow spotted them and exclaimed "Holy crap!" in a loud voice. His dad tried to shush him, and he said, "No, dad, holy crap, look at that!" We probably didn't get to kill as many out of the bunch as we might otherwise have. But it would be hard to judge whether his surprise and the birds' at it or our laughter was to blame.
