Fuck that. Mine's too small. You do it.

Used to trap beavers with 330's. Setting one of them is scary as hell. Would wire mine shut to set them and cut the wires the very last thing. Them 330's scared the fuck outa me but oh boy...the beavers I caught.
Once I caught a beaver so big it took two people to carry it.

Setting one is an adventure. I'm hyper and usually got it under control. Setting a 330 makes my blood start boiling and I get that bouncy jumpy feeling, lump in throat. Not to many things scare me. Fearless until I start setting one of them 330's. The effects of setting a 220 are minor but I still feel my blood pumping from playing with that one. A 110 is child's play.

Is sculling how you hunt primarily? I read a story a few months back In a delta or DU mag on it and was very intrigued. Not much of an option around here but the history and technique are cool as hell.

depends on the weather. Maybe a 1/4 of my hunting is from the scull boat. Some years more, some years less. Depends on the weather. Blue bird days every day, I scull more

Sculling is like a radar trap for ducks.

nothing cooler than waving at guys sitting bored in a duck blind on the river while I scull towards a raft of sleeping ducks that they've been watching for hours on a blue bird day

As a young teeenager, I laid in the bow of my grandfather's scull boat as he snuck us up on big rafts of broadbill. My shooting wasn't always up to his standards but it was always exciting.

no dork. It's an old old Indian trap. Probably left over from whatever tribe used to claim that land

Fellow who sublets that pasture from us has a new partner I'll be talking to about the inadvisability of such things - and what the hell the arrow was for.

AB, the pipe did, indeed, hold the bait bucket in place.
