That seems to be the only downfall with those motors. That and overall speed, but how fast do you really need to go?

Season 4 of breaking bad is on Netflix. I'm useless for the rest of the night now.

Met up with TK Saturday morning and went to a storage auction. For those in the KS/MO area, Bill Fair auctioner is a pretty shady outfit. I probably won't be going to one of his auctions again. He was jumping the bids quick and his guys were letting people walk into storage units. When I said something, his helper commmented that this wasn't the tv shows. Sure ain't, I expect the auctioneers to be more professional.

Got back from shooting some guns with the wife, in time to cook down and can some tomatoes, before packing for this stupid trip tomorrow morning. Shot a .25 Colt, and a .32 Beretta Tomcat. I just wanted her to get used to the idea of an auto instead of a revolver, and she's pretty much sold now. Didn't want her to shoot a .40 or .45, though- no need scaring her off until it's a done deal!  I must say, that Beretta .32 was a VERY fun gun to shoot, sort of the .22 rifle of the pistol world.

1800-0600. I'll be fine really. I did it seasons ago. Getting off 30 min or an hour early to make shoot time is never a problem. I just hate the lack of sleep. Work-hunt-nap-work-hunt-nap...

Red, I would think you probably get pretty busy between 22:00 and 03:00hrs, especially weekends and summer.
I work a similar shift, and have for about 2 1/2 years. 3 on, 4 off,4 on and 3 off, 18:15-06:30hrs. I actually prefer it over dayshift. I have found I can get more done with out all the cubicle warriors getting in the way, justifying their existence. I've been in this industry and line of work since 87, so it is a choice for me. They asked me recently if I wanted to go back to days and I declined.
It actually can work out to more time in the marsh. I have people I hunt with get the spot set up and pick me up at the boat ramp when I get there after work. There have been times when they are limited before I get there but, it still works out.

yea I worked it for 6 straight years. Wore out the wife. She hates it. And yes those hours on Fridays and Saturdays are the busiest for sure. Honestly if I didn't have so many kids, or if they were older, I'd work it more often. It is fun. And our little office doesn't have supervisors at night...justifying their existence!

Speaking of bows, the lady wants to get one so I showed her some good options. Gonna let her shoot my buddies girlfriends bear homewrecker since that's the one she liked best price wise. That's means I'm going to have to save up and get the pse I've been thinking about for a month or so. Thank god for pro forms too...

Whaa?

My wife loves to shoot her bow with me. I think I got her all set up for about $450 starting from the ground up.
