Whaa?

My wife loves to shoot her bow with me. I think I got her all set up for about $450 starting from the ground up.

Associate order discount forms. Since I work at a sporting goods store and I'm the lead bow tech, I can get stupid good deals on certain brands.

How about on accessories like broad heads?

I think right now, rage is the only one available to us. But I can get sights, rests, stabilizers, arrows and strings.

Know why Rage offers a discount? Because they suck.

That was easy.

In all honesty, they would have to pay me about $300 per broadhead to shoot those sucky things.

Haha. Hater.

I acutally heard that they are addressing your complaint about the 'spade' shaped tip.

Working in the department I do, I am fortunate enough to have "guinie pigs" for products so I tend to hear alot about what works and what doesn't. And for every guy that has good things to say about rages, I hear 2 bad stories about them. Most say they don't deploy when they hit, resulting in tracking for hundreds of yards or losing an animal. I've also heard about them opening in flight and flying off in a random direction.

They should have saved themselves some copy, and said "We effed up the first time. We think we fixed it. Try these- they should work better. Or just go buy some Muzzys."

I love the muzzy 4 blade. Mainly because of the price. But my old pse shoots them really well. I'll try out the G5 montecs if I upgrade before season.

I tried the Montecs as well, and they planed like a major league curveball. At least I found that out in the yard, and not on deer like the 3 I lost due to the Rages. I don't know why I insisted on trying something different than the Muzzys I've always used, but I did. Didn't last long, though, before the 4-blades came back out.

My friend uses real steel broadheads (I think that's the name, but I'm probably way off) and he swears by them. They se little itty bitty things but I've seen what they do to a deer. Plus they fly damn near like field points.

Morning fellas! Another fine morning in Sault Ste Marie!
“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.” ― Samuel Adams
