PSE has really come a long way the past few years and the handful of their stuff I've shot, I have really liked. And that bow madness XL is sexy.

Bowtech has gotten on my bad side as of late. My buddy bought a Bowtech Assassin the other day and was showing it to me. I pulled the bow back the 1st time and the string broke at the upper cam causing a false dry fire. My buddy flipped thinking I had dry fired it, I assured him I hadnt as the release was still attached to the nocking loop. Mind you I have been bow hunting for close to 10 years (not my first rodeo). Off to the bow shop we go. Well the upper cam warped and the string was trash. Luckly the upper and lower arms were not cracked. $165.00 dollars later the bow is good to go. Needless to say, I am not impressed with Bowtech anymore.

Cabelas has a bowfishing setup for $130 in their add with the visa bill. Thought about that one for a bit.

i shoot an old ass high country. love it to death!!! no reason for this guy to upgrade any time soon. i paid 350 used and have shot it for 4 years (mainly for fun, but a ton of arrows), and its still as accurate as heck, and around 280fps. plus, Stan Potts is the original owner. :scooter:

Still shooting the bowtech patriot vft here. Not the quietest bow but gets the job done. I would be more than content with a Guardian. That bow is more than adequate and couldn't justify spending any more than that if I were shopping.

Never trust a string loop and release if there is no arrow nocked end of story.

Good choice. I should've done the same. Completely disgusting.

Top 3 most annoying people on a hunting show, makes me want to burn my TV and throw acid into my ears. If I hear one more person say"That is what I am talking about" on a hunt show I am gonna snap. Him, along with the dude from Flyway Highway, Shaw Grigsby and Jimmy Houston need to get together, pull their lips up over their head, and swallow!

Some guy woke me up at 4 am with a text wanting more information on trading a sword, newsflash, the cost of said trade just went up by around 30% or more just for waking me up. Some people's children.

I'd use it for cutting watermelons and random tasks around the house, just to see if my wife's eyes would stick back in her head as she rolled them at me.

If its a grown man interested in a sword he clearly would have no SOP knowledge of normal functioning adults to begin with
