That was the plan to start with but I'm fine with it either way. If the birds are up there early I say we go without the decoy. We'll hunt over it here if we have to.

We are only allowed 3 a day here during the regular season. Only time I hunt them is if the ducks slow down. nothing like spending an hour setting up to limit out within 15 minutes of shooting time. There are so many birds it just makes me sick to pass so many up:(

At least they gave us Oct thru Dec this year. Before we only got part of Oct and part of Nov. Our early season we get five but most of the local geese have been killed off so the hunting sucks anymore.

not as dumb as my 1 canada limit. If it weren't for all our Aleutians, I wouldn't even hunt geese

The master list has been updated to reflect sws001 joining in. Since Jehler combined his hunt with JGUN and sws was next in line.

JGUN I hope you don't mind. I upgraded the weight string in the emperor with 500lb mono and proper crimps. I left the gang rig clip but made up a weight for it.

HaHa When I got it had the Tangle free and the clip but with big assed granny knots. I put the tangle free crimps and made a weight line to clip to. Didn't want to mail the extra line and weight for fear of it beatin' the lil' f'er up.

I was going to do that but left the mono at jehlers house and I wanted to get it shipped the next day so i grabbed a piece of tanglefree I had at the house.
