Superior? Not in the least. Ask any elite 1911 shooter, 1911's are a PITA, absolute money pits if you want one to run flawlessly. As far as absolute function and reliability go, you literally cannot beat a Glock. I don't care for them and if I ever own one (should really say when), I will be taking a dremel to the finger grooves, but they are hands down the most proven and reliable handgun on the market.[/quote]thank you
