I think it's bullshit on the agent thing, those were back door deals that had nothing to do with the institutions.
However the OK state recruiting and player paying could get nasty. My brothers friend was recruited as a kicker for them and was on the squad for a year as a freshman but never saw any game time, quit and came home after that. But I'll be interested to hear what he has to say.

NCAA isn't about the players anyways. Calipari left Mass in shambles, season erased, no repercussions, does the same at Memphis, no repercussions, and it'll happen at UK also. Kelvin Sampson at Oklahoma, you're right, sucks seeing innocent players, students, and coaches paying for what someone else did.

I think the penalties should ALSO follow the coach. The schools should not be off the hook. They employed the coach in question, and didn't do their part to make sure violations didn't happen.

Every school knows, or should know what's going on in the Athletics department. ESPECIALLY those that make most of their money through athletics.

Watching TCU@ Texas tech. It's just not as satisfying as watching SEC football, but the bama @ A&M teasers are awesome, I'm really glad A&M was added to the sec and are making an impact in the west, too bad the east got Mizzou, hell we already had Vanderbilt and have wanted to give them to the ACC for quite a while, I'd like to trade them for ClemPson.
