Red, Tiler, and Sam packing the decoys. Would have helped but red said the water was too deep for midgets, and then we laughed when he walked out taking a gallon over the waders.

The Emperor looking bad ass.
ImageUploadedByTapatalk1352153271.250851.jpg

Day two we were all tired from late night BS'ing and booze but damn its a beautiful place to hunt.
ImageUploadedByTapatalk1352153448.184501.jpg

Gadwall surrounded by devil bushes. As Redbeard said all we had for cover was Scottish thistle so we sported work gloves and brushed the layouts with the sticker covered plant. About every 10 minutes of the hunt I would hear gadwall say, "ouch sh!t"!!! Then I would laugh and look over to see him pulling an inch long sticker out of his hand.
ImageUploadedByTapatalk1352153788.900853.jpg

And yes the truck got a little dirty!

It was a great trip, one we will remember for a long time. Aaron and his whole family are great people and we appreciate them giving us the opportunity to come up and stay at their home. I also enjoyed meeting Tiler, reds description of him was right on. Mellow fun loving guy. New friends were definitely made on this trip! Oh and I also wanted to give Sam credit for hitting the doctor pepper with the sling shot in the living room when his mom said he couldn't do it!!! Good shot.

so that's what you were doing while I was filling my waders with pond water

I'd like to see something down around you guys, maybe late in the season when all the birds have left us and made it your way. Hell, last year we got hit with Slowvember, then it got real cold, and the birds never picked back up.

First might I say, awesome job JGun. Appears to be in good condition still, little beat up, but that is expected. definitely not cheap to ship, at least not fron CA to KS, lucky for me I get to send it to NH.

It was only $18 for me to ship. Distance didnt matter as long as it was the lower 48. Size and weight is what you pay for. At least that is what she told me. She also said it didn't matter if it was 50 miles or 1500 miles, still 3 days.

I paid for priority and for tracking or something like that, but MN to CA ran me $35.20.

It was around $20 for me I believe.

I don't even remember what it cost. Seems like it was last year that I had it. We open in the morning for our first split.
Boat is loaded and hooked up. All I have to do in the morning is make coffee, get dressed and drive to the club. Drinking like a Frat boy right now so I can try to go to sleep early.
