No ice at Henderson or Chamount last year to even make it worth going. Ended up at Kring Point in a boat pulling the perch in, don't sell them though.

Adams has Steels, maybe not as many, but they have them.

Those sandy creeks )north and south{ are tough when the water is this low. I do like the Black River though. Sometimes I launch my 14 footer but I also send my otter final attack at the damn. I got some walleye secrets for this time of the year on that stretch of river too. Mud bay for walleye through the ice can be epic and so can chaumont at dusk. The open water winter boat fishing can be tough versus a warm shanty.
