it is fun ain't it. **** starting to happen at work too. We've got a movement started. Sgts are finding out they have to abide by the same rules they hold us accountable for
You should be warned that a person in a position of authority can simply change the rules.
The people who have the most authority over me do exactly that whenever I get them tangled up in their own rules. I'm good at it too. After a while it gets really hard to find work when you keep enforcing the rules onto the people you work for. They tend to really get burned up when tied up in their own BS. Then they want to tell others about it and change the facts. Been there, done that as well.
I'm a rebel.
They can change the rules, but it only impacts those who are afraid to see it all the way through. If you're not willing to go to the end of the road, don't even bother turning down it. I was once threatened with an Article 15 for a completely bullshit "charge". Said I wasn't in my barracks room during an alert. But I was under no obligation whatsoever to be in my room, since I was on convalescent leave after shoulder surgery. So they wrote me the Article 15, and when the CO presented it, I told him I wanted a court martial. (In the military, if you get in trouble, they give you "non-judicial punishment", which means, as long as you accept it, your commander will be the one issuing the verdict and the punishment. But every time, you have the option to choose a court martial instead, but nobody ever does, because they're afraid, and rightly so. It's basically a felony conviction, which sticks with you) He told me I didn't want to do that, but I was sticking to my guns. I knew damn well that I did nothing wrong, and it was just some bullshit, because I told the Lieutenant that he was wrong in front of everyone, and he was pissed. I insisted that I was accepting nothing but a court martial, and I meant it.
It got torn up.
