Is it not illegal to impede the flow of traffic in your states? It is here. My ex always was mad at people who speed because whenever she would, she would get a ticket (wasn't the brightest bulb). To get back at them, she would go the speed limit in the left lane. I freaked on her when she told me that, telling her she is going to get hurt by pissing off the wrong person one of these days and also that it's illegal. She didn't believe me till she saw the sign on the road that says "slow traffic keep right"

We have the "slower traffic keep right" here and Washington too but, it doesn't matter if there arean't tickets involved.

if im in my truck i will set the pace in the hammer lane, if im just in my pickup i will be found lingering in the right lane.

That reminds me of when I went to Chicago, a tractor-trailer was behind us, moved over to the lane left of us and started to pass. He drove until we were about even with the sleeper on his truck, and merged back into our lane. We had to do evasive maneuvers and go off the road onto the shoulder. Apparently 80 wasn't fast enough for him.

its common courtesy. You're comfortable going 5 over. The person behind you might be comfortable going 10 over. Why are you jamming them up. Just get over and let them pass then go back to doing your 5 over

I generally go the speed limit all over town. When I head on a trip back to Alabama I go 77 on cruise control on the interstate (speed limit 70).

I used to go 85 all the way, and sometimes up to 90. I made record timing. The last time I went I had my little brother with me so I slowed it down to 77. Never once broke that speed, and we made our best time by 15 minutes.
