The one MUST HAVE for duck hunting. Money.
Once you have that, its easy. People will tell you what all to buy. ;)
Started out with 12 decoys, a foldup seat, pump shotgun, hip boots, and a camo hoodie over 30 years ago. Got, cold, wet, miserable, but kept at it. Hate to think about all the trucks, miles, etc. Gas burned up chasing ducks, guns, dogs...it all adds up. Please dont add it up. Wife'll freak.
I've heard that it's incredibly stupid to fuck around with a crazy man's head.

I'll more than likely just mount it right there in the field.

Serious answer, camo and a gun gets you there. After that, you can start adding decoys, different species, better equipment, etc.

Hater. This year I might see if I can't pull a field limit with strictly mojos.

Why do you need camo? Carhart brown works fine. Just don't move around.

And to the OP, get some mallard deeks and spend the money on a good padded decoy bag with shoulder straps and a waist strap if you do much walk in hunting. Worth their weight in gold!

Oh I'm sure you can, couple of buddies of mine did it down in Missouri a few years back, shouldn't be a problem up there...

No helicopter looking for a murder
Two in the mornin got the Fatburger
Even saw the lights of the Goodyear Blimp
And it read, "Jeffys a pimp"
