I've never had fish tacos on anything besides corn tortillas.

Put it in the fridge and go get some tacos. It won't be good, you'll be disappointed, and you'll probably just have tacos tomorrow. Have them now, enjoy them, then enjoy the pheasant tomorrow night. It tastes better after a day in the fridge, anyway.

How about pheasant tacos?

Eating pheasant, as tacos is not a compromise in this case...it's just eating the meat he started, and making himself happy with tacos at the same time.

No. The whole shooting match you just described is a compromise. There was no intention to put the pheasant in a taco. Nor was there any intent or desire to have tacos which contained pheasant. By putting it in taco form, it is an attempt to appease the taco desire, by substituting something which wasn't designed for the purpose. And appeasement is compromise. He could call them Chamberlain Tacos, I guess. But he wouldn't be happy.

Feelin' Fowl wrote:That would just be dumb. The compromise is deciding to eat the pheasant (or soup) at a later time in favor of something else.
Adding to what you have going, is smart business. Get tortillas out and be satisfied. Make a samich to go with your soup (should have anyway).
By your logic, you're making chicken noodle soup, and decide you want broccoli. Better not throw any in the soup, you'd be compromising. If you want broccoli, you should put the soup away and eat that green shit on it's own. And if you didn't decide you wanted broccoli with cheese, rather than soup, leave that shit in the refrigerator. That would be another compromise. Enjoy your plain broccoli...I'll be eating chicken noodle soup with broccoli, and a samich on the side.
Changes and/or upgrades on the fly is not a compromise. It's genius...

Pheasant (that was slow cooked in mushroom soup since lunch) sounded like the makings of a shitty taco by the way. Probably still better than a Jack in da box taco though.
And I brought the conversation full circle. Boom!
