What is the mindset of someone like that? Is it perhaps that our low expedition citizens brought the situation upon themselves so screw them but those people who do not have our social welfare system need our help?
Isn't it fortunate that we seem to be able worry about others and not have to worry as they do about feeding ourselves?
Beef - You must think this lady is worth something (looks, intelligence, sex, money or a combination of things) to go through this agonizing decision process of what to do and how to handle it. Ask her if she voted for or supported Obama and if she did, drop her like a hot potato.
I never said she doesn't care about helping the needy in this country. she would say its unfortunate that the corporate/political entitlement culture is as troublesome as the entitlement mentailty of folks who don't work. There's two sides of the coin. she seems to be quite the moderate on many issues. I just hate the idea of her being some martyr for third world people that would just as soon as kidnap her for ransom or worse. She is a southern bell who grew up on a farm and I don't blame anyone who voted for obama during his first election cycle. She is a huge ralph nader fan and was rooting for ron paul on the last go around, primarily for his foreign policy ideals (not his deregulation of enviro laws).
