It's actually came from a meteorologist that has a Facebook page. I've been keeping up with his predictions for a while now and he is scary accurate. He accurately predicted the storm that hit the Atlanta area last week and has since received a lot more attention. I have compared his predictions with the homeland security weather briefings and he is right way more than they are. I believe I read where he had a 90% accuracy on his predictions.

Being from North Louisiana, like yourself, I try to pay attention and be prepared for any snow/ice event headed this way. Where I live, it doesn't take much of an ice storm for us to lose power for several days. I like to make sure that I have enough gas to feed the generator and enough firewood on the porch to get me through. I usually keep about 30 gallons of gas on hand for my 4 wheelers and my side by side since we are on them all the time and I don't like to make a trip to town just for gas to go hunting or riding. It don't happen often down here, but when it does I like to be ready.

I heard that. I remember an ice storm that made us loose power for 2 weeks. Who is the on fb?

Whenever a hurricane is coming, or a big snow is predicted, this is always in the back of my mind. My "prepping" really has more to do with this than with zombies.

This is what is possibly in store for the South next week. If nothing changes, we are looking at the possibility of 4 inches of snow, sleet or ice in the Northeast Louisiana area.
