Seeing old people at the store buying new tv's because if they didn't , the tv would blow up on 1-1-2000. Lol
Same with computers...
I rolled the dice, said fuck it and took a chance. My win95 pc didn't explode or anything.

I remember that New Years. We went to a big new years party my aunt and uncle had... Lead singer of the band at the party was a young Jason Aldean before he was famous. Didnt realize it for a few years of course. He was better back then I think, bc he sucks now.

No hoax just blown out of proportion. There were a lot of computers running out of date software that really didn't have 2000 as a year. Most of these were patched or replaced years before y2k though.
