I've been through part of Illinois and all I can say is Fuck. Chicago. We had to drive from southern Chicago, I think near Chicago Heights, all the way through to Waukegan. Seen my life flash before my eyes countless times. Apparently speed limits don't matter there, you just go 90 or get the hell out of the way. If a trucker wants to merge, he will merge dammit! And if you're in his was sorry for your luck, either get off the road or get smashed. The we got to our hotel in Waukegan, turns out we were ripped off and sleeping in the ghetto. Pretty sure I heard a crack deal going on outside. Woke up in the morning and some dude was sleeping in the stairwell of the hotel. Tried to cross the street once, there are no crosswalks there. People speed up as you try to scramble across the street. It's like a game of frogger. After we crossed the street, I seen a pimp. You may ask how I know he was a pimp. Just imagine a pimp, and that is what he looked like.

Southern Chicago is horrible, but Detroit is a nightmare. I hope I never have to step foot in either places for as long as I live.

Chicago, Oregon? Never heard of it.
Matter of fact... never heard of Detroit, Oregon either.

I think you fellas out there should wait until they drain and refill that reservoir then take a shit in it right in front of the same surveilance camera they busted the pissing boy with. Wear an Obama or Biden mask just to jazz it up a little.

apparently so...

City officials state that their justification for draining the drinking water is that the water has already been treated and was ready to drink. City officials claim that although it is true that birds and other animals have been eliminating themselves into the water, Portland residents have been accustomed to this practice with no negative consequences. The city officials didn’t feel comfortable supplying Portland residents with deliberately tainted drinking water. The water supply was tested and all test results came up negative. Portland officials say the Bull Run watershed has an ample water supply at present, so the 38 million gallons that have been drained will not be a hardship on the city’s supply.

Okay, that just adds to the level of dumb by Oregonian officials. They treat the water BEFORE storing it in a huge outdoor dirt lined puddle, full of dead animals, dead fish, garbage, and whatever else. They're either a level of stupid seldom seen among the living, or they're lying. One or the other, no in between.

Got to be, in order to justify what they're going to charge him with (and probably bill him for). Absolutely no way that water comes out of a pond and goes directly to someone's drinking supply. No way at all.

meanwhile in other parts of the country residents get fined for washing their cars in the driveway and leaving the sprinklers on too long cause they haven't seen a drop of rain in four years
