Hopefully you don't make it. 3000 post in 4 months is a bunch.

Just go with the flow...I'm sure I'll get kicked in the ass by life some day and have to start putting in effort, but until then I do the minimum and have fun.

Calculus classes are the ones this method doesn't work to well for me.

Stats is getting close to upending the standard operating procedures for me. Most worthless fucking class on the planet. If we took paper tests I'd write 50/50 down on all that shit and walk out.

Took care of all that in high school so I would have an English speaking teacher teach me. Plus everything math related on this campus is online based. You do all the homework with an online program that you plug in all the numbers given in the problem to get the answer. This equates to you not learning a single mother fuckin thing since I will never have access to this program again, in the extremely unlikely chance that I need to poll a house of chickens.

I fucking hate integrals. To many ways to go with the first step.

I have an engineering degree and looking at it caused temporary blindness...

I'm pretty sure I haven't even heard the word "integral" since I graduated.

That's my biggest problem with it. I'm going for a ME degree and need 3 semesters of calc and a semester of differential equations. And I know a few engineers that say it's all useless.

It's not useless. You need a good base understanding of the math to understand the physics. When you graduate you will use tools to solve those problems for you, so it is hidden behind a program. BUT it is very important that you understand the physics so you know if what the program spits out is reasonable or not. If you don't know enough to raise a red flag, you may send something to testing prematurely.

I know all the basics of calculus and what derivatives and integrals are supposed to find. And I know physics pretty good and have a lot of experience working with stuff in the real world. Been building/engineering stuff since I was a kid and have been working in a boat shop building boats and helping rig them for 4 years. I know there is a lot more to engineering than what I've come across, but I'm pretty sure I'll have a good understanding of what needs to be done.
As long as I can get through all these BS classes.

The hardest things are the ones they don't even touch on in class. The theoretical stuff is easy if you apply yourself and dedicate enough time to your studies.

With that said, please lord take advantage of your te in school and carve out a couple days a week to really burn the candle on the back end. College isn't the most quality fun you will have, but it is likely to be the most numerous amount of fun.

Get drunk, hook up with a skank or two, join a frat, etc...

I don't remember calculus but I also don't remember a lot of nights or weekends either. If you know what I am saying.
