You won't regret it huntfishnv.

Last few pics frim the Emperors trip to KS. Pond I wanted to hunt was froze on Sat morning, forced to the river, where there were no birds. Sun found a few ducks and geese flying after dark.

Those pics were from a 25 acre lake, when full, it is now withered down to a little pond. The 15 yards we were from the water was the ckosedt we coukd get, some okaces are 50+ yards of mud flats.

With capt having the decoy right now, and me up to bat next, I'm starting to have the terrible nightmare that I wish would never have come.....Where the eff am I going to hunt???? Our local lake has been a complete crap shoot for the past month. We had an awesome time opening weekend then POOF. The birds just up and disappeared like a fart in the wind. I could take a gamble and head north an hour and a half to the waterfowl CA's and take a gamble getting drawn. But who knows. Time to start texting/calling/pm'ing people to figure some stuff out.

MO, that decoy is gonna smell like popcorn once capt is done with it!

No it won't be a waste! I'll find something to kill while it is in my possession. More than likely a lot of beer, but still, blood will be spilt by thine hands whilst thine emperor accompanies me on this quest. Whoa. I just went all Shakespearean and shit on that.

If you go to the CA, you will get drawn, and you will kill birds. That mojo is something else with that guy. Or you could scout. I found a hole with about a billion wood ducks for that guy. I think he liked all the friends I found him, even if I couldn't hit them.
