Pheasant dumplings

Damn Jarbo. You know how to make a dude jealous. I wish I had taken enough birds to still be having them for dinner.
That looks damn good!

This was my last 6 pheasant legs, I'm down to only a few geese and some ducks. Thid was my best batch yet, mixed some Cavendars into my biscuit mix, made the dumplings awesome.

That's awesome. Stretch it out man.

Someone thought they needed to test out the new waffle maker.

Dude, you've got to try the tater tot hash brown thing. You're the first person I know that actually has a waffle maker. Take a bunch of thawed out raw tater tots, put them in the waffle iron, and you get one huge, waffle-esque hash brown. My love for tater tots has almost led me to buy a waffle iron, but I haven't caved yet.

Kids b-day party today. Pounded out 4lbs of fresh burger into patties, got some 1/4lb hot dogs to go on the grill also. Tater salad, mac salad and whatever anybody else brings over.

Fresh spring mix with frisée, Steak, blue cheese, Carmelized onion and mushroom, sautéed Brussel sprouts. It was outstanding.

I did. Never a big frisée guy. It's a little black licoricey for me but the trimmings add a good flavor to the spring mix.
