That sounds like a damn fine idea. Especially for river caught fish. If they ever make it up here I'll try it out.

This round of burgers didn't turn out that great. Not sure why. Oh well pups enjoyed the left overs.

I fully enclose the salmon in foil, season to tastes (jonnys salmon, pepper, garlic powder) lay a few strips of bacon on, a lemon slice (if I have it), cook 10-15 minutes per side then throw the bacon away before eating.

The only salmon I like is the stuff my neighbor sends back from Alaska. He has a cabin up there, goes up for the summer and sends back hundreds of pounds of salmon fillets. Love that shit, but when I try it from a restaurant or grocery store, it is one of the most unflavorful fish I've ever eaten, like a wet paper towel. I sprinkle Weber "steak and chop" seasoning on it, drizzle a little olive oil on the foil, and then grill it until the skin is like a chip. That's almost the best part, like a fried chicken skin.

This has me curious as fuck. I'm not saying I don't believe you, because I'm likely going to try this, but mayo? Seems like mayo and grilling don't belong in the same sentence, let alone salmon.

I put mayo, salt, and pepper on chicken breasts before grilling. Pretty tasty.

I've never understood why people say it clogs arteries. Hold butter or bacon fat in your hand. What happens? It melts at body temp. Hell, it's an arterial lubricant.
