A long time ago I had a savage bolt action chambered for 222, I guess that is a pretty outdated cartridge.

The .222 Remington was the first "Benchrest" cartridge and was really accurate, but not too accurate by today's benchrest standards. I'd like to have one on a CZ action. Maybe one day.

Wasn't there also a .222 Rem Mag? Thought the mag was the parent cartridge for the .204.

There was a .222 Mag that I am still in a desperate search for. No idea on if the .204 was based off of it.

If you can't see it, how can you call it littering.

If you are drinking a beer and driving and you throw the can in a ditch where no one can see it, is it littering? Wonder which is worse, a fine for littering or a fine for open container?

Never thought I would get one of these but there is hardly any plastic to it, it's mostly metal. Fits my hand like a glove. It shot nicely with the box of factory I put through it so far. Fun little gun to say the least. Hopefully it will function without a flaw within the next week.

I had really high hopes for that pistol but I have heard terrible reviews thus far. I sure hope you got a good one. Once the overall bugs are worked out, I would like to have one.

I can't tell yet whether I got a good one or not, will just have to shoot it a lot before I get any serious opinion on it.

Killed two birds with one stone...

I had a Remington 700 ADL in .30-06 laid away and only had $50 left to pay off. While picking it up, an old gentleman came in with a another 700 ADl; this one being in .222 Remington! That's right, .222 Remington! The bastards would only offer him $200 for it, even though it was in new condition. I offered him $200 and the Henry Golden Boy in exchange for his piece of beauty. Deal done. I had more excitement for this than that '06. So much I came home and scoped it up and formed 10 shells from .223 Remington. It shot like a striped ass ape at 200. 3 shots inside an inch...
