Last year, I paid the shipping for the Pac Flyway rambler(DHC) 2 times. Both times were around $50 or more because of the holidays. If it doesn't get sent 2nd day or next day, it won't get there in less than 4 days, no matter who you send it with on holiday weeks.

Thanks for the heads up, I'll tell the Ol' Lady to keep an eye out for it. I'll probably be hunting. I got the DHC deek today, so my hunting will start tomorrow.
How did you send it? I mean through who?

Maybe you should PM me that tracking number, it didn't come today. Probably need to check on it. Montana isn't that far away, i would think it could get here in 2 days pretty easy. The DHC rambler was sent to me on Monday and came here via USPS on wednesday delivery, that's with Tuesday being a holiday too.

I just looked up the package # and it looks like it says it should be there?

Am I reading it wrong?

You're reading it wrong. In the far right column, where you see "Expected Delivery By:January 4, 2013
Delivery Confirmation™ "
That is what you paid for. In the columns further to the left it shows where it was tracked in and out.
Basically, right at this time it shows it left Great Falls MT on Jan. 3 2013 but, not timestamp like the other activity.
My guess is it is over here somewhere but, has not been tracked in for some reason.

It has arrivved and will be on tomorrow and Monday's hunts.
Hopefully, they will go better than my first 2 days with the DHC rambler.
Everyone here on WFF seems too be doing a better job with dropping something in the deek box before shipping. The Pac Flyway rambler has only one thing in the box.

I've got the DHC Pac Flyway deek too.
So, I hunted them both this morning for a few hours.
There were very few hunters out today, to keep birds moving, so we decided not to hunt all day.
Here's a pic of the boys together near the bank of the Columbia River. Both of the rambler deeks have obviously not been to big rivers. They both have mud puddle size droppers. They had to spend most of their time off to the side toward the bank and watch the action of the big river boys on longlines.

Image

We ended the hunt early but not empty handed.

Image

Considering that we did better today than either of the days I hunted just the DHC rambler and didn't even hunt half day, I'd say the Emperor pulled his weight.

I can't get anyone with an Oregon license to hunt with me tomorrow and the area and weather conditions aren't something I'm gonna hunt alone in my small boat. Looks like I'll be sleeping in tomorrow.

Awe. He'll have fun, but we won't know anything about it. Because it's a bachelor party. And nobody should know about what happens at a bachelor party except for those in attendance.

Lucky little emperor.

Pics!
Whoever appeals to the law against his fellow man is either a fool or a coward. Whoever cannot take care of himself without that law is both. For a wounded man shall say to his assailant, "If I live, I will kill you. If I die, you are forgiven." Such is the rule of honor.
