It does. 95 degrees with 95% humidity in July.
The corn makes its own humidity. Its miserable until August.

I found the summer time beard acts like a screen porch for my chin. Shade and cool breezes, and was never hot.

I'm growing one this summer while I'm backpacking, not hauling shaving equipment with me in the desert.

That doesn't work here. It's hotter down in coastal Ga. Gotta move up to the mountains for cooler weather but that area is not for me. Hillbilly central up there.

I've been clean shaven once in the last 13 years. My current beard has been with me for 5 months. We'll see what the summer brings.

Im going no trim/shave starting May 17 (buddies wedding im in :( ), I had a nice 8 month grow going on before i shaved for St Baldricks, the wedding is going to mess up my year of no shave though :cry:
