Just realize, my boy's presence(quackhead) will be dependent on his wife's buffalo hunting success and timing. I'll still be trying to get there either way but, a buffalo is a freezer full. I'm sure you'll understand, if it comes to that.

Not sure how the hell I missed this thread, but as the list shows, I am in. As of now, my trailer will have 5 dozen full body geese, 5 dozen floater ducks, 1 dozen full body ducks and a half dozen floater geese (and 2 mojos). Will also have up to 5 layout blinds if needed (snow covers for 3-4). Assa, not sure I'd worry about shipping/flying a gun out. I will be shooting my SX2 and can bring a Browning Silver and a Stoeger Condor as spares for anyone who needs one. If somebody wants to go old school I've got a Remington 48 Sportsman 16 gauge and some steel for that as well. Gear should not be an issue, I've got that covered, all we need is booze and food.

Prob won't need the trailer. I have all the dekes needed except full body ducks. With this many people, parking could be an issue. An extra layout might be helpful. We can decide what's needed the week of.

Whether I am there or not, I will be contributing to the booze fund.

It's only about 3 hours, won't cost me much more to bring it, so better to have it and not need it. It's a 6x12 Tandem Axle, so we shouldn't have any problem fitting all of our shit in it.

We'll see what we need when the time comes. Hopefully weather cooperates and we can hunt my big ponds. If not we might be on the river, slim chance of us field hunting.

No notice required, I can bring everything at the drop of a hat. Only time I'd need a little advance notice is if you get a killer feed and need to put the hammer down, then I can come up with about another 4-5 dozen Bigfoots/Dakotas if you give me a few days to go get them.

I'll be on the lookout. Used to wear em out in the river bottoms, have many fields to hunt. Birds quit using those field, prob haven't field hunted that area in 4-5 years. With all the pressure, geese rarely leave city limits during daylight.

That is a fact. Its going to be tough to part on the narrow, hilly streets of Jarbos small town.

We will have a good amount of dekes for sure. One hunt last year GKR and I set up 86 geese (full bodies and floaters)
with just the two of us. GKR owns over 700 decoys....I have some, Jarbo has a bunch....

TK how far do you live from Jarbo?

About 25 minutes. If a road was ever cut through the Hills about 11 minutes.
