Starts out subtle but if ya don't watch out before you know it... saying stupid ooser shit like how we get raped on licenses etc.
Oddly, the guys who do it, when you look, have Missouri or Tennessee tags on their boat n trucks.

South Carolina also. They hate people from SC.

Seen this a hundred times.
Kid roars up late, hits the ground bitchin about everyone's in his way blah blah. Then the "God Damn oosers " talk. After a while you kind of expect it and quietly giggle cuz everyone else is.
I've heard that it's incredibly stupid to fuck around with a crazy man's head.

Cold doesn't even feel cold anymore. Walked out to start the truck this morning, and it felt cold, I guessed single digits.

It was -14

Same here, only -8, but I didn't even notice until I looked at the thermometer.

It got up to 28 over the weekend, but other than that it hasn't been above 10-12 in a few weeks. This is by far and away the coldest winter I can remember. It's only redeeming quality is quickly becoming its biggest downfall... The damn snow, we are supposed to get another 6-10 tomorrow. At least our holes might finally fill back up with water in the spring.

It has sucked, coldest winter in over 30 years here. It's not normal for us to be completely locked up all winter, been that way since Thanksgiving. All while no snow to help with drought, supposed to change tomorrow, up to 12" predicted.

Not so high or low as to notice. Big thing was the small water was all frozen and not going to unfreeze. Winfield lake and whatever large watershed lakes they chose to keep open were the only options. Bless those little snack size canadas that seem to favor our spot, no doubt they held it open while similar size lakes froze.

Thays good water levels of you never notice. Those little Canadas are fun to hunt. See them when I hunt my place by Yates Center, they'll start slipping when they aren't high and winds are light. Have seen em upside down only 10 ft off the water.

I saw the little goose flip for the first time this season, got so caught up watching them nearly collide with each other I forgot to shoot.

This is what is possibly in store for the South next week. If nothing changes, we are looking at the possibility of 4 inches of snow, sleet or ice in the Northeast Louisiana area.

So jelly, I'm just a few miles from the open waters of Lake Michigan that just makes it snow harder.

This makes so much more sense. I thought you lived on the east side. You kept talking about lake effect and I couldn't figure it out.
