A question for the pros

I'm having issues with my laptop charger. It takes me 4 hrs of messing around to get 15 minutes online worth of charge. My question to you computer aficionado, is it possible to charge through a PS2 port?
I know there is power there because you can charge your cell from a computer PS2 port so can it go the other way?

No its not. And I'd bet it's your battery if you're charging for 4 hours and only getting 15 minutes worth of use. Laptop batteries do not last long at all. Ebay will be your friend to get another one.

It's the cord, I have already disected it and troubleshot the open signal. I'm taking it to work with me and I'll try a repair tonight, on a suitable work bench.
I've been down this road before. I'm trying to avoid buying an $80 replacement. The cords weak point is always at or near the strain relief.
It takes hours because I come back and it isn't charging so I have to reposition cord to line up the broken wire inside.
Thanks for the info on the PS/2 post

Sometimes I'm such a dumbass, I meant the USB port. Where the hell did I get PS/2 from, isn't that a game or something?

No a PS/2 connector was most commonly used for key boards and mice. The answer is still no for the USB haha.
