I knew a lot of hipsters have started fly fishing, but hunting takes it to another level.

I don't think you know what a hipster is. The things they're into are only cool because to them its not mainstream like wearing plaid, big rimmed glasses, listening to really obscure music. So if they are going to explode into hunting it will last as long as it's not mainstream. I fucking hate hipsters.

Ftfy. It's cool to be a hipster that doesn't care right now, which is one of the great oxymorons of the world.

I disagree. I think the less hunters the better. I went Mule deer hunting in Colorado back in 2009 and found out our Mule deer unit was also an over the counter elk unit. We had hunter camps set up every half a mile and it was anything but a wilderness experience. I do not like hunting around a lot of people especially people that don't know what they're doing.

And we don't have hipsters or hippies down here in South Texas but Austin is chock full of them. I grew up in Austin in the 80's and it was a cool college town where you could go into a local bar and listen to Willie Nelson or Stevie Ray Vaughn. Its not like that anymore. I enjoy it for about 3 or 4 days then I'm ready to get back to my sleepy little coastal town.

Same as Lawrence, a hot bed of hippies and weirdos in Kansas. They stay within their city limits and stay quiet. You can still find plenty of bars to listen to good music though.
