Is duck hunting your favorite thing to do? Seems like to me I could probably fly fish more than I could duck hunt, while I love hunting ducks it just gets stressful sometimes. It's close though, very close.

Sometimes it's just plain difficult for me to relax when I'm duck hunting, are the decoys set correctly, is the weather right, is someone going to crowd me, is everyone safe, are the roads ok, and so on.

Duck Hunting is the one time when I can totally relax. Once the decoys are out and I'm sitting back waiting on the sun to break with a coffee to warm up, I wait for those days all year.

It is a ball of stress and so much work. theres nothing like a good pic and wax when you succed though. Minus deer, ducks are best opportunity to get lots of meat at a time. All of that stress is eliminated when your not fighting the public. Private land hunt are 20% of what i do. Cometittion has driven me crazy alot.

Ducks are my favorite but a close second would be catching stripers on the Sacramento River in the spring!

Striper and sturgeon are the best eating fish in my opinion.

Tuna, wahoo, dolphin(not the flipper kind), and grouper are the best. Fresh if you can get it.

Tuna and dorado are good. I should have specified fresh water fish.

Deuce drop

New trend around here is to call bluebills and bluegills: bluebies.

Know how I know you're from the west coast.
And rockfish aren't fresh water fish. Hybrids are though.

I beg to differ.

I believe what you are referring to is a striped bass.

Exactly, I wanted to eat it and post up it was mediocre, wasted opportunity
