Highway 97 goes north/south right between the lake and the mtn. About 5 years ago a big rock came down and laneded on top of a toyota, killed the driver.

Hold on here everybody, don't anyone get crazy and irrational about this. I think if we start with a well developed database of known boulders and, their controlling partys, we can keep this thing under control by just issuing permits.....for a small fee, of course. 8-)

Of course, it might take a whole 'nother branch of the Department of the Inferior to regulate it.

Do you think there will be a 10 day waiting period on boulders?

All private sales of Boulders must now go through a FBL dealer.

You want to know something else that's funny, well maybe, the link won't even work. I just put 2 and 2 together from the comments before I showed up.
Does the link work for anyone else?Image

Not sure how that will help the desktop pull the link better but, hey, anything is worth a try................Nope, phone's on it's side and the computer still won't pull the link up.
Must be they got me blocked from that news site, communists.

Haha. Just a smart ass answer on my part. I just thought it was a crazy story, they've been talking about it a lot on the radio today. One of the reports implied that the insurance company is trying wiggle out of paying, saying they don't cover "earth movement".

You're just a shill for Gorilla Glue. How much stock do you own in that company? We all know that's the way these laws and regs work- we're on to you, mister. All about making money and nothing to do with safety.

I think it's time for some common sense boulder regulations.

The practice of setting up special "beware of falling rock" zones has created a "fault" amongst the aggregate community with certain factions (boulders, lava, volcanic ash) acting out in an attempt to bring attention to this inequity.

I think it's time we dealt with our discriminatory actions in order to reconcile the chasm we've created.
