My latest purchase was new wheels for the Taco build! Way better than those old black steel rims that were on there.

Reminds me of the asian flag I saw yesterday in Farmer City, Illinois.
Said "FISH TACOS" on it. rofl.

First pair of breathables for me. Wing Supply had them for $99 a pair, so I got two pair and will let my dad use one of them. They're actually Macks...so hopefully decent stuff.

Bug-a-salt. Wanted to check one out for a year or so and finally said to heck with it. Fourth of July at the in-laws means a lot of time on the deck cooking and drinking. Which brings in tons of flys, hoping the boys have a blast with it after I give it a test run or 20!

Woa. Bug a salt. Cool
I bought a map and a bomber lure AND a new cast-net that's nearly twice the size of my old one. Can haul in the bait about three times quicker now. :fishing:

I'd like to hear a full report on that. Looks like a blast for a kid, or an adult for that matter.

I have an old POS BB gun that I use with salt on flies. It's a lot of fun.

I've used it everyday since Thursday evening and it's been a lot of fun for both me and the kids. Pretty effective out to about 5 feet. Seems to hold up pretty well, the kids and I have shot it at least a thousand times and no issues. Been using it on mosquitos in flight as well and that gets pretty addictive. Defienetly don't want to shoot anyone up close with it's far as kids are concerned. Overall it was worth the money

I think you're good as long as it stays yellow. Unless you move to Massachusetts. Then you might want to check again.

Anyone else and I wouldn't bother to ask, but with you I've got to know, what are you planning on doing with all that?

The paint and glue are for building more bee hives. The buckets are for the honey.
When a bee hive makes a "baby" you need a new hive like right now or the baby flies away...all 50,000 of them.
I try to keep at least two hives available at all times because there are days when I'll get two swarms.
Have 47 hives today.

Couple weeks ago bought some stuff from a beekeeper who is moving. Great deal and among the junk was a pollen trap so I been collecting some fresh pollen. Tasted some and to my surprise it has a very sweet start but a sort of earthy finish. Collecting the pollen to feed back to the bees in the spring to get them jump-started on baby bee production.

I assume you guys always put bricks on top to keep animals from getting at the honey?

Na. It's to keep the wind from blowing them off and something to set the smoker on so it don't start a fire. Burned the top on one once.
Animals usually try and get in thru the entrance at the bottom. If you keep the hive 8" or higher off the ground skunks and whatever get stung in the armpits. ;)
There ain't any bears here or I'd have to have electric fences and shit like that. I'm in the city so not a lot of critters to worry about. The juvenile two-legged African-American rock-tossers are my biggest real problem.

Spent another $400 on equipment,
VarroX oxalic acid vaporizer unit $165. That price stings a little.
100 frames and foundations. To top it off I added a couple nice gate valves.

You guys ought to see the limited edition engraved metal CCC Throwback duck calls. Damn they look pretty but I spent the cash on bee stuff instead.

Picked up a couple of duck stamp prints at a flea market.
Mississippi 1983
Ohio 1983
Paid $15 each.
Love to know the path they took to make it to NH!

You bet they do, it also came with 18" super tracks so this thing will pretty much be unstoppable. Plan on mounting a little 7.5 hp on the back for longer water excursions. It'll carry 6 persons on land 4 in the water, and hauls up to 1200 lbs. It's just the thing I need to get around my cattail marsh.
